How to Reset a Belkin Wireless G

You don't need to ask your company's network administrator to reset your network's Belkin Wireless G router. The router has an accessible physical reset button that you can use to either reset the device or restore its settings to factory defaults. If it is difficult to reach the reset button because of the router's location in your office, you can use Belkin's Web-based user interface to perform the reset. The interface is accessible from a Web browser on any computer connected to your network.

Reset Button

Step 1

Locate the "Reset" button on the Belkin router. The button is located at the back of the router and is labeled "Reset."

Step 2

Push the "Reset" button and then release it to reset the router. The router's lights will flash for a moment and the Power/Ready light will change from solid to blinking. The reset process is complete when the Power/Ready light stops blinking and becomes solid again.
