Here is a step by step guide on how to the installation of a downloaded huawei firmware update file :- Download all files (Dashboard, firmware update, cust file, cust flasher) Now extract all in a folder. Now run the "FmcUpdate" file. Now plug the D100 Huawei Wireless Router Gateway using LAN cable if you have not already plugged it. Now click on check and it will check your D100 Huawei Wireless Router Gateway. Now click on the upgrade button, which will be highlighted after detecting D100 Huawei Wireless Router Gateway. Now Browse the "D100_CUST_DNA.FI" file folder and click on the "WLBGCPR11006_RES.BIN" file. Now, wait till finish the process. Don’t interrupt in between the firmware update process, otherwise, your D100 Huawei Wireless Router Gateway may be dead forever.

Note:- Make sure that the computer has all the drivers. (The easiest way to make sure that your computer meets this requirement is to connect the modem to the computer and connect to the internet.) Close any type of connection programs like Mobile Partner or Branded mobile software. (Modem must not be connected to the internet, modem light must be blinking, the software must not be running)
